Emilia, born and raised in Darien Connecticut, started skating at 2 years old in Stamford Connecticut at Terry Conners Ice Rink. She immediately had a natural love for speeding across the ice on her skates. Emilia and her love for the ice translated to playing ice hockey for five years at the New Canaan Winter Club in New Canaan Connecticut, where she earned the nickname “Pinky” for the color of her gloves and stick.
Emilia began training as an elite skater in 2007, splitting her time between Boxborough Mass and Hackensack NJ. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2016, she trained in both Monsey NY and East Meadow NY. Emilia is the 2015 U.S. Figure Skating Championships juvenile silver medalist and 2017 U.S. Figure Skating Championships intermediate silver medalist.
Emilia loves Broadway and for her birthday each year she enjoys attending a play. This past November she saw Hamilton.
