Megan Wessenberg

Megan Wessenberg is a member of Team USA and made her senior level debut this season placing 14th at the 2017 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. She is the 2016 Eastern Sectional silver medalist and 2016 U.S. Figure Skating Championships junior ladies bronze medalist. Most recently, Megan was named as a Junior World Team alternate.

Megan is a co-chair of the Junior Activities Committee, helping to organize events at The Skating Club of Boston throughout the year. This year she was honored by being chosen to the U.S. Figure Skating Scholastic Honors Team which recognizes high school-age U.S. Figure Skating members who have distinguished themselves in figure skating, high school academics and community involvement. She is the recipient of the U.S. Figure Skating 2015 Athlete Alumni Ambassador (3A) Award, a scholarship program that recognizes skaters who have achieved figure skating excellence while actively volunteering.

Megan enjoys spending time outdoors skiing, snowmobiling, swimming, wakeboarding and boating, and oil painting. Megan is hoping to travel to New York City this year to see the Broadway play Hamilton.
