About the Creative Team


Timothy LeBlanc
Creative Producer & Show Director

Timothy is a producer and show director for live entertainment, special events and shows in large-scale arenas including stage shows, ice shows, and film and television productions. He is a creative force in show development and production specializing in creative and technical design through his visionary talents in bringing stories to life. Amongst his many projects, Timothy has produced and directed numerous figure skating productions featuring national, international and Olympic figure skating champions. This year marks Timothy’s eighth Ice Chips, one of which was The Skating Club of Boston’s 100 Years of Excellence, the show’s 100th Anniversary Celebration. Timothy is also the Producer and Show Director for Harvard University’s An Evening with Champions which he has directed for the past seven years. A former professional figure skater himself, Timothy toured with Disney On Ice where he first learned the creative and technical aspects of producing live shows, directed his first production and launched his professional career. While working for Walt Disney Creative Entertainment as a dancer and theatrical stage performer, Timothy quickly found himself at the center of numerous productions across the Walt Disney World® Resort including Disney’s SpectroMagic, Disney’s Dream Along with Mickey, Disney’s Stars and Motor Cars Parade, and Disney’s Dreams Come True Parade as well as many other Walt Disney Creative Entertainment productions. He studied at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts and Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism where he earned a Master’s Degree in Communication Management. Residing in Los Angeles, California, Timothy continues to spread his creative talents throughout a variety of production environments and is currently working on many new and exciting projects this year. Timothy is proud to be leading the Ice Chips Creative Team again and looks forward to working alongside a talented group of professionals.

 

Marissa Castelli
Head Choreographer

Marissa Castelli is a 2014 Olympic Pairs Bronze Medalist, Two-Time U.S. Pairs Champion and 2-Time World Team Member along with partner Simon Shnapir, whom together, have a long career of national and international titles. We are honored to welcome Marissa back to the Ice Chips Creative Team as Head Choreographer. Marissa is no stranger to Ice Chips, in addition to skating in the show for several years, she was a lead Choreographer for the show’s 100th Anniversary Celebration in 2012, as well as 2013 the and 2014 shows and became Head Choreographer in 2019. Marissa is also the Head Choreographer for Harvard University’s An Evening with Champions. Now residing in Rhode Island, Marissa is coaching young future Olympic hopefuls and skaters of all ages.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alexandria Ronzio
Assistant Head Choreographer

Alexandria (formerly Shaughnessy) is a professional figure skater, PSA Rated coach, a former Team USA pair skater with partner, Jimmy Morgan, and a former competitive singles skater. Between both singles and pair skating, Alex is a 10-time Eastern Sectional competitor and a 6-time U.S. Championships competitor. As a pair skater, Alex is a Senior international bronze medalist, a bronze medalist at the U.S. Championships at the Novice level, and a 5-time Eastern Sectional medalist. As a singles skater, she is a Regional medalist and Eastern Sectional competitor at both the Junior and Senior level. As a coach, Alex has over 10 years of coaching experience of all levels including freestyle, moves in the field, pairs, dance and Theatre On Ice. Alex was a skater on TOI of Boston’s Senior team, Act I of Boston from 2013-2015 and was the Head Coach of our Junior team, Ovation of Boston during the 2014-2015 season. She is currently a member of our Senior team, Forte of Boston and is very excited to be returning to the Coaching Team for TOI of Boston this season. Outside of the ice rink, Alex loves to spend time with her husband and two rescue dogs, as well as ski, hike, travel, and go to the beach with family and friends. Alex is also the Adoption and Transport coordinator of a non-profit organization, The Haiti Street Dog Project 501(c)(3).

 

 

 

 

Adam Blake
Choreographer

Adam Blake joins us again on the Ice Chips Creative Team this year. Adam’s style of skating and choreography has been described as passionate, hard-hitting, and impactful. Adam first started choreographing at age 16. He toured with Disney On Ice and in 2011 he won the Young Artists Showcase choreography competition. He then went on to become the assistant choreographer to Cindy Stuart for two Disney On Ice productions. His most recent work includes Artistic Director for TOI of Boston, choreography for 2006 World Champion, Kimmie Meissner, the Volkswagen Winter Spectaculars, 2016 World Championships Opening Ceremonies, U.S. Figure Skating Galas, The 146th Edition of the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and his company, Ice Cold Combos.

 

 

 

 

 

Melanie Lambert
Choreographer

Melanie was a U.S. National team member for 5 years, a U.S. National medalist in Pairs, a two-time U.S. Eastern Sectional Pairs Champion, and a two-time New England Regional medalist as a Senior Ladies competitor. She has performed as a principle in various ice shows around the world, including Torvill and Dean’s Dancing on Ice TV show in the UK, and ABC’s Skating with the Stars. Melanie also worked as Head Choreographer and Director for Woodstock Ice Productions and was the Assistant Choreographer for the Holiday On Ice’s Festival in Europe. Her choreographic accomplishments also include creating and choreographing routines for World and Olympic team members.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Linda Blount
Choreographer

Linda is a PSA Master-Rated Coach with over 30 years of experience coaching Regional, Sectional and National competitors. She is the Campus Manager of the Skating Academy Boston weekend campus, Assistant Operations Manager and Special Events Coordinator for Skating Academy, and Chair of The Skating Club of Boston Skating Academy’s annual Basic Skills Competition. The year 2019 marks Linda’s nineteenth year with Ice Chips. Linda also serves as the Stage Manager for Ice Chips, managing all production and technical aspects behind the scences. We are very privledged to have Linda’s expertise.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jimmy Morgan
Choreographer

Jimmy is a national and international Senior pairs competitor and currently coaches at The Skating Club of Boston. He also coaches Theatre On Ice teams that have medaled at multiple National Theatre On Ice competitions at both the Junior and Senior levels. Jimmy is also a member of TOI of Boston’s internationally competitive Senior team, Forte of Boston. Jimmy enjoys passing on what he has learned during his competitive career to prepare his students for success in all aspects of life. Jimmy’s students continue to work on pair skating skills for national competitions and careers in professional shows. He also holds a Bachelor of Communications degree from Boston University and has a passion for performance, dance, and learning. He can usually be found dancing in his kitchen or taking a hip-hop class and is a proud dog dad to his rescue pup, Cali.

 

 

 

 

 

Ariel Gagnon
Choreographer

Ariel is a U.S. and Canadian figure skating coach who resides in the Boston area. She was a national and international competitive pairs skater from 2004-2008. In addition to coaching on-ice, Ariel specializes in strength and conditioning coaching and off-ice training. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Quebec in Montreal. We are pleased to welcome Ariel to the Ice Chips Creative Team this year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ailsa Robertson
Choreographer

Ailsa has 9 years of coaching experience, including group instruction and private lessons of all levels. She began her coaching career as a Junior Coach in the Learn To Skate program in Houston, where she mentored under B.L. Wylie and Julie Holmes. Ailsa began volunteering with Skate Therapy, an organization providing therapeutic skating lessons for individuals with a wide range of disabilities (check out their incredible work at skatetherapy.org). She picked up invaluable skills such as lesson planning and adapting to the needs of the individual that apply to every child and their learning abilities. Her private lesson career began in 2013, and over the years she mentored under Savannah Miller, Mark Janoschak, and other incredible coaches. She welcome learning opportunities such as the Professional Skaters Association Coaches’ Conference and Coaches’ seminars as opportunities to expand on my coaching philosophy and understanding of my sport. As Bill Nye says, “Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don’t… Respect their knowledge and learn from them. It will bring out the best in all of you.”

 

 

 

Bryna Oi
Choreographer

Bryna is a former international level ice dancer. She competed at the 2013 ISU Four Continents Championships amongst many other national and international competitions. She is a coach for TOI of Boston and brings her passion for helping skaters build a strong foundation of skating skills to give them the best chance possible to excel in their chosen discipline. She enjoys collaborative relationships with other coaching teams and aims to use her supportive role to supplement a personalized training regimen to help skaters thrive. In her competitive transition from freestyle to ice dance, she developed a deep appreciation for the value of building strong basics, strengthening a skater’s foundational elements through work on posture, presentation, edges, and power is core to their growth.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brad Vigorito
Production Manager

Brad is an 8 time Eastern Sectional Senior Men Competitor, a Regional Medalist and a former Junior Nationals Pairs competitor with his previous partner, Marissa Castelli. He was first alternate to the 2014 and 2016 US National Championships. He is a 2009 graduate of Wheaton College with a BA in Psychology. Brad enjoys working with skaters of all ages and levels, from learn to skate to Sectional competitors and has been coaching since 2005. He has skated in professionals shows since his retirement in 2016, including Dick Button’s Art of Figure Skating exhibit in Cooperstown NY and for various shows with the American Ice Theatre. He also enjoys producing shows. He has been co producer of the Providence Tree Lighting since 2015, a position passed on to him by World Champion and Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan. He has also produced many benefits such as the “Celebrate Life” show which raised money for the America World Adoption Association in March 2017 in Rhode Island. Brad is a member of Forte of Boston and is excited to have been given the opportunity and privilege of working with the TOI of Boston teams at The Skating Club of Boston.

 

 

 

Buck Withrow
Production Manager

Buck is a former national and international ice dance competitor. He is a Coach for TOI of Boston and is a veteran of the TOI Boston program. He himself skated on Act I of Boston when it was founded in 2001 in addition to being a national and international ice dance competitor. Going on to tour with Disney On Ice as a professional figure skater, Buck has toured the world and performed in many professional productions. We are proud to welcome Buck Ice Chips Creative and Production team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christie Allan-Piper
Associate Choreographer

Christie is a visual artist exploring the motion and emotion of the figure on ice, film and paper. She is a published writer and illustrator who has earned U.S. Figure Skating distinction as a Gold Medalist in both Figures and Free Skating as well as a Silver Medalist in Dance. She joins us focusing on theming and artistry development.

 

 

 

 

Mandy Curtin
Associate Choreographer

Mandy is the Director of Foxboro Programs, and the Director of Summer Camp for The Skating Club of Boston. She is also the Director of Skater Development for Team Excel Synchronized Skating Teams. With over 10 years experience, Mandy enjoys coaching basic skills and synchronized skating. Originally from Australia, she skated on the National Team representing Australia on Tour in Canada and the United States and performed in the National Tour of Torvill & Dean’s International Ice Spectacular.

 

 

 

 

 

Keri Lee-Clancy
Associate Choreographer

Keri is a staff coach at our Foxboro location and has been coaching beginners through regional competitors for over 15 years. For the last three years, Keri has also been the Campus Manager for The Skating Club of Boston Skating Academy’s Dedham location. Keri previously taught Theatre On Ice for 5 years at the Novice and Open levels. She has choreographed show programs for numerous clubs and is excited to join the Creative Team for Ice Chips this year.
