2018 Four Continents Champions

Kaitlin and Jean-Luc formed their partnership in June 2012. Kaitlin began skating at age three and previously skated with Michael Bramante, 2010-11. Jean-Luc began skating at age two but did not start seriously training and competing until age ten. He skated with Joylyn Yang for five years, at which time the team was coached by his parents, Steve and Sharon, who competed at the 1988 Olympic Winter Games and still coach in Washington.

Kaitlin graduated from Troy Athens High School in Troy, MI in 2014 and is currently studying at Oakland University. Her parents are Jonathan, state government affairs representative, and Kirstin, consultant and web designer. She has two brothers, Bradley and Nathan. Kaitlin has a Springer Spaniel named Zoey and a Miniature Golden Doodle named  Sophie. She supports Run4Leah and the ALS Association. Kaitlin enjoys learning new things, like how to mix music or be a barista, and her interests include painting, photography, dancing, cooking, coffee, and listening to music.

Jean-Luc was born with a club left foot. “It literally makes it two sizes smaller than the right foot. At birth, my parents were told I would never be able to walk, and well, I essentially proved them wrong!” says Jean-Luc. He was born in England and became an American citizen at age seventeen. When not on the ice, Jean-Luc enjoys photography, bike riding, and exploring. He graduated from Kamiak High School in Mukilteo, WA.
